Our standard 568 series O-rings are manufactured from a 70 durometer nitrile rubber that has excellent resistance to hydrocarbons. Also available are 90 durometer nitrile O-rings. We also offer AFLAS O-rings in both a 75 durometer and 95 durometer compound. This unique elastomer is recognized as a problem solver across the world as services become hotter and as harsher chemicals become more prominent. Perfect for maintenance shops. O-RING KIT UTEX AFLAS O-RING SEALS O-RING BOSS GASKETS FOR STRAIGHT THREAD TUBE FITTINGS Back-up Rings – Utex back-up rings are used to prevent o-ring extrusion. Matching variations, wear and high pressure combine to produce gaps or clearances that can be bridged with back-up rings. Cord Gaskets – Cord gaskets can be used in some static seal applications. They are constructed from a length of extruded cord and the joint is vulcanized to provide a seal to the desired diameters. Seals fabricated in this manner perform as gaskets and will generally require additional compression or squeeze. Cord gaskets can be furnished in a wide range of size, shape, and compound configurations.UTEX offers a complete range of AFLAS O-ring seals in our standard 568 series. Both 75 Durometer Shore "A" and 95 Durometer Shore "A" are carried in stock. UTEX AFLAS O-ring seals have good resistance to extrusion at high temperatures and resist gas decompression blistering. These attributes combined with the chemical resistance and heat resistance of this material allow the use of one O-ring seal for a broad range of applications. |
