It can be injected with a high pressure gun or installed ny hand. Unlike braided packing, co cutting is necessary. It will conform to any size stuffing box and seal it.

Its ability to fill any crevice makes it an effective seal on worn or grooved shaft sleeves. Highly lubricius, Universal packing requires no cooling or flush water. Highly versatile, Universal packing is formulated in a variety of styles to meet the conditions found in almost any industry. there is a style suited to your needs; from high acidity to high alkalinity (0 to 14pH), temperatures to 1200oF, pump pressures to 250 psi and, 3000 psi in reciprocating equipment and valves. A nom-staining, non-contaminating style exists which meets FDA standards for food contact and potable water applications.
Conveniently package for easy handling and storage, Universal Packing is available in 2 lb., 5 lb., 10 lb., and 20 lb., bulk containers. Cartridge stick (1/2# ea.) packaging is available for use with the injection gun. However, the gun can be used with the bulk versions, also.
